Prescription Information

Please allow 24-48 hours for prescription refills!

Certain medications require blood work as a precaution for and in the best interest of your animal's health.

Such medications include, but are not limited to:

NSAIDs (Carprofen, Rimadyl, Metacam) Phenobarbital Potassium Bromide InsulinThyroid medications

A current patient relationship is needed with our doctors on all refills. The reasoning being that each veterinary pharmacy operates independently and is not part of a chain much like you see in human medicine. Refills of these medications are also dependent on the current status of your animal's blood work.

Please note the following:

1. We are unable to fill prescriptions from other clinics without a current doctor, patient relationship.

2. We are unable to mail prescriptions over Colorado state lines.

3. We are able to mail certain prescriptions to current clients only. There is a minimum fee of $10.00 for shipping and handling.

Compounded medication

Per Colorado regulations compounded medications can no longer be filled in the practice. If your pet is currently on a compounded medication, refills must be called in and filled directly through the compounding company of your choice.
