Heartworm   Proheart 6   Revolution

Now dogs and cats can be protected against heartworm, fleas and other parasites with a convenient, once-a-month, topically applied product. Revolution represents an enormous opportunity for your patients and your practice. This site will get you and your staff up to speed on Revolution, a true breakthrough in parasite control.

Nearly 55% of dogs and 77% of cats still may not be adequately protected against heartworm disease and fleas.1 Here’s how Revolution will help you protect them and provide a new standard in animal health care.

Just a spot once a month is the simple way to protect against heartworm disease, fleas and other parasites.

Revolution is generally well-tolerated. In studies, < 0.5% of cats and dogs experienced digestive upset. Approximately 1% of cats experienced temporary hair loss at the application site. Use with caution in sick, weak or underweight animals.

Safe for use on puppies and kittens as young as 6 weeks of age.

Proven safe for breeding males and females, pregnant and nursing females and heartworm-positive pets. In accordance with the American     Heartworm Society and good veterinary practice, it is recommended that all dogs 6 months or older be tested for existing heartworms before starting a new prophylactic regimen.

Revolution was proven safe when given at 10 times its recommended dose to puppies and kittens, and 5 times its recommended dose when administered to collies with demonstrated dose-related sensitivity to ivermectin.1

Revolution comes in child-resistantpackaging.
